The Hide Candle – hand poured soy candle

The Hide Candle – inspired by the most amazing Airbnb up in Donegal. An incredible hand built cabin looking out towards Glenveagh National Park. A place to truly switch off from the world and reconnect with yourself. We had spent many incredible holidays there soaking in the atmosphere. The scent was inspired by a trip from a few years ago. The wild flowers were everywhere and the smell was intoxicating. There was also a lingering smell of woodsmoke from the wood burner (that is on the go all year round). The combination of smells stuck with me and the idea for the Hide candle was born. Here is a link to our blog all about it.

We commissioned local artist Joe Caffrey to create a piece of art from one of our favourite photos of the Hide as the natural roof was blending right into the scenery. We used the image on the candle and you get a postcard print with the image too.

Every candle is developed, blended, hand-poured and finished in our Co. Down studio. Each scent is our own original blend and comes with a care guide and postcard that we’ve photographed to share what inspires us.
