TRADITIONAL HAND DIPPED CANDLE MAKING

Join Michael for a brand new type of workshop – hand dipped candle making! Bringing back a technique that is 1000’s of years old.

Join our Chandler Michael as he takes you through the history and methods of making hand dipped candles. The technique itself is really therapeutic and folks often loose themselves in the process.

As it will be Mid Summer, we have chosen a variety of colours all inspired by an Irish Summer. Each person will make 8 candles in total using all natural materials. Including pure soy wax, natural dyes and simple cotton wicks (this in itself is unusual as most dipped candles are made using paraffin wax).

Eaxh of your 8 candles will be approximately 8 inches in length and burn for an average of 8 hours. Happily, they will be ready to take home with you on the day.

We will be serving Suki Tea and White Star coffee on the day and some homemade treats to enjoy as the candles are cooling.
