Incense Making Workshop – Newcastle

Our workshops are back! Join Michael in the new studio & shop to learn the art & science of incense making. Using all natural materials in a chilled out relaxing setting right by the sea.

Join us in our gorgeous studio shop for our super popular incense making workshop. Using natural herbs and powers, let Michael take you through the therapeutic process of rolling and making your very own incense. Together with freshly crushed herbs, we will be adding organic essential oils and natural Makko powder to create our own individual scented incense sticks. We’ll also take a delve into the history of incense as its origins go back over 5000 years.

Expect to get your hand dirty as you add the oils and small drops of water to your mixtures, before both rolling into incense sticks and into cones. We love adding some intension into this part of the process. You may well find yourself getting lost in the fragrant process.

We will be each making 8 large incense sticks and can take them home with you on the day.

Suki Tea and White Star coffee will be served with some homemade treats.

Time: Approximately 120 minutes

All workshop attendees will receive a 15% discount to use in store.
